What batteries in 2024?

I've just dug up my H340 and it needs a new battery. I've just read the battery replacement guide, but I'm too dim to understand what kind of battery to get? Anyone have concrete suggestions?

I've not dug into my H340 in a long time so don't remember the experience other than getting in was a bit of a chore.

I somehow got the idea that people were using ipod batteries. But this makes it much easier! Thanks!

Probably a bit too late, but the iPod battery will require you to swap the wires in the battery connector. This was forever ago, and in the event that Apple changed things up during the meantime, be sure to take some voltage readings *before* you plug in the new battery. Don't trust some random guy (me) to know what he is taking about.

Be careful when you go to swap the battery leads around. touching them together will destroy the charger circuit (ask me how I know). The good news is that you can salvage the one from the old battery and it will (should, anyway) work just fine (feel free to inquire how I know about that too).
